Paljaya Brings New Saptic Tank Truck Due to High Service Demand

Perumda Paljaya is about to bring 10 new septic tank trucks soon in a bid to meet the high demand for septic tank services from the community.

Our truck added because people's enthusiasm grew

Perumda Paljaya President Director, Untung Suryadi said, there are already 17 septic tank suction trucks. Therefore, Paljaya will have 27 trucks.

"The sludge suction for feces has increased by 100 percent compared to last year. This means people are becoming more aware and are performing the suction on a scheduled basis. This awareness is the result of intensive socialization efforts conducted in urban village and sub-district," he expressed, Monday (10/6).

Paljaya Intensifies Safe Sanitation Socialization

Based on Paljaya Data, the pumping volume was recorded at around 2,500 cubic meters until June 2024. Meanwhile, in the same period of 2025, it increased to 4,800 cubic meters.

According to him, the nearly doubling increase reflects the success of the educational program and the local government's efforts to ensure residents' sanitation meets health standards.

"Our truck added because people's enthusiasm grew," he explained.

He explained, the new truck to be operated by Paljaya has 4,000 liters capacity with a more hygienic vacuum pump technology. This white-blue fleet is operated by two certified personnel equipped with complete personal protective equipment (PPE), and follows standard operating procedures (SOP) for customer service.

He added that one truck can perform eight suction operations, averaging two houses per service in a day.

"Most importantly, the mud from the piped stool is taken to an official processing facility, so the community can be assured because the handling complies with regulations," he added.

Then, the arrival of the new fleet will be done gradually from October to November 2025, thus all the fleet can operate at maximum capacity before the end of the year.

"With this step, Paljaya affirms its commitment to supporting the improvement of sanitation quality and environmental health in Jakarta," he asserted.
